Asherah Waltz – In-Depth Guide

Asherah is a HP-scaling hybrid who combines healing, cleansing, and steady scaling through Insight. She is not built around burst. Her strength comes from maintaining control of the fight while gradually becoming more active over time.

Passive – Lunisson

Lunisson defines how Asherah scales throughout a fight. It increases her Max HP, which directly improves both her damage and healing since her kit scales off HP.

It also gives her a layer of sustain tied specifically to Belle Lame, allowing her to restore the HP of the ally with the lowest HP ratio when she uses it.

On top of that, Lunisson converts Insight stacks into Dual Attack chance. Each stack increases this chance, up to a maximum of five stacks. As Insight builds, she becomes more likely to trigger additional attacks, which increases her overall activity in a fight.

Basic Skill – Belle Lame

Belle Lame is her single-target attack. It deals damage based on her Max HP and grants her 1 stack of Insight.

This is her most consistent way of building Insight. You will use it frequently between cooldowns to keep her scaling progressing.

Special Skill – Bal Dor

Bal Doré is her main mixed utility skill. It deals damage to a single enemy while restoring all allies’ HP. It also grants her 1 stack of Insight and applies Starlight Wish for 2 turns.

Starlight Wish increases her Speed and Effect Resistance. This helps her cycle turns more frequently and makes her harder to disrupt, allowing her to stay consistent in longer fights.

Ultimate – Lumière Sonnet

Lumière Sonnet restores all allies’ HP, removes 2 debuffs, and increases all allies’ Action Gauge by 15 percent, excluding herself. It also grants her 1 stack of Insight.

This is her strongest tool for stabilising the team. It clears debuffs, recovers health, and immediately pushes your allies forward, helping you regain control of the turn order.

Build

Since Asherah Waltz scales off HP, you want to maximise it as much as possible.

Set Pieces

  1. 4 HP + 2 HP & Evade
  2. 4 Crit % + 2 HP% & Evade
  3. 4 Speed + HP% & Evade

* Necklace: Speed, Ring: HP%

Substats

Prioritise Speed in the substats, followed by Crit Rate and Crit Damage. Since Asherah is built like a bruiser, having the additional Crit will help her do more damage in the long run. And speed helps with gaining an advantageous turn count.

Gameplay

At the start, she plays steadily. You build Insight while maintaining the team’s health and stability.

As the fight continues, her value increases. With more Insight stacks, she triggers additional attacks more often and becomes more active overall. Combined with her healing and cleansing tools, she gradually takes control of the fight without relying on a single burst moment.

In PvP, Lumière Sonnet is key. The cleanse and Action Gauge increase can shift turn order back to your side and undo pressure from debuffs.

In PvE, she provides stability against effects like DEF Down and damage-over-time. Her ability to cleanse and heal in the same turn makes longer fights safer and more manageable.

Final Take

Asherah is a unit built around consistency and control.

She does not overwhelm early, but over time she becomes increasingly difficult to deal with as her scaling kicks in and her toolkit keeps the team stable. And this, will carry you a long way.
